The Philosophy of Achievement

"What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve." ~ Napoleon Hill

This is a video clip of the very famous Napoleon Hill where he talks about the wisdom shared to him by the billionaire Andrew Carnegie some one hundred years ago. The video is an oldie, and a little dry in its delivery but the message is timeless. The philosophy is exactly the same as it was, and will always remain the same: Regardless of who you or where you came from, you can achieve anything that you desire if you believe it. It's a seven minute video clip, but the message that Hill states is very powerful ...and if applied can be life changing. Enjoy.

Hi Gretchen,
When I finished school I had a truck load of student loans to pay so I went to work for an Insurance co. thinking I could pay them off much faster than working in mental health.I remember listening to Napoleon Hill then and largely because of my training I did get my loans paid. Ironicly, when I had worked as a therapist for a few years I began to use the concept of solution based therapy extensively and found myself using Napoleon Hill's concepts in a clinical context. It was a real blast from the past for me to hear this video. :)
ohh incidentally; ty for your post..I was very surprised when I checked the votes( I did not expect to see anything) and of course pleased to see it :) Thanks..was very nice of you.
warm regards,
Carl

Such an inspiring icon! I've been inspired by Hill's theory for several years. I've noticed that Will Smith (the actor) seems to be inspired by a similar type of thought process: Set one's thoughts on a goal and let nothing stand in your way. Thanks again G, you are my inspiration! :) ~Nate

Popping by from SITS. I'm quite a fan of Napoloeon Hill, Zig Ziglar and all of those positive thought teachers. In fact, I'm listening to an old Dale Carnegie book right now on my computer. I appreciate a chance to have a little review session like that with Napoleon Hill. He's definitely one of the masters of the craft!
